The Last Sewing Repair Cafe of 2025
On 28 November 2025, we had our final Sewing Repair Cafe of the year! Despite the hustle and bustle of Black Friday sales affecting attendance, we are excited to share that we successfully repaired 13 pieces of clothing and saved 12.3 kg of fabric from ending up in the landfill.
This year has been transformative for us. We moved our Sewing Repair Cafe to the CCET Centre, departing from our previous location in Epsom. While we lost some of our regular volunteers, this transition introduced us to some amazing new sewing enthusiasts who have enriched our Albert-Eden community.
We deeply appreciate the support we’ve received throughout the year and look forward to an exciting new year starting in January 2026! Join us in promoting environmental protection and sustainability in our community. See you there!
