Chinese Conservation Education Trust is blessed with double happiness

Chinese Conservation Education Trust is blessed with double happiness

In the evening of  17th May, the Albert- Eden Local Board had an Award Giving Ceremony. CCET’s chairperson Estella Lee was given a Hero Award for her work in promoting conservation and environmental protection to the Chinese. Mrs Susan Li, one of CCET’s Trustee, also Chairperson of Epsom Chinese Association has also got a Hero Award for her contribution in helping the Chinese integrate into the NZ community and her work in CCET.

It is good to see that CCET has 2 heroes in our Trust. Nowadays Local Boards are more than willing to acknowledge people who work for the wellbeing of the community. Hero Award is a way to encourage more people to contribute their time and effort for doing good and making our area a great place to live..  So, do your best. You may be tomorrow’s Hero !
