Visy open day
Are you curious about what happens to your recycling once it leaves your place in the truck?
This is your chance to learn what happens at New Zealand’s largest material recovery centre – come along and attend an education session at Visy Open Day.
Visy is where the contents of your Auckland Council recycling bin ends up, but that’s just the start of the journey.
Visy staff will take you through what happens to your recycling when it arrives, and will answer any questions you’d like to ask. Plus you'll get to meet recycling mascots Tin Can and Plastic!
Registration for these sessions is essential and places are limited – make sure you secure your spot.
Please note, for safety reasons, flat, closed shoes must be worn. Open shoes of any kind will not be permitted.
Date : Saturday 28 October 2017,
Time 9.00am - 2.00pm
Where : Visy Recycling NZ, 29 Victoria Street, Onehunga, Auckland
Bookings : Registration essential – email firstname.lastname@example.org
*** Please note that this is not Chinese conservation Education Trust’s activity. Registration is not through CCET’s hotline and there will be no CCET volunteers to provide any service.
