The train the trainer course aims to educate and inspire community champions, who have family, friends and community contacts in south Auckland, about cloth nappies, reusable baby products, making your own baby food and reusable menstrual products – targeting education to the most expensive and disposable products that could save a family money and significantly reduce their household waste.
Attendees will leave with a comprehensive understanding of modern cloth nappies, how to wash them, different styles and why they are different. They will learn about some of the basic, affordable waste minimisation products on the market, baby food and making your own, waste free lunch boxes and reusable menstrual products.
Attendees will also learn how to facilitate a positive and influential behaviour change workshop/interaction.
All attendees will receive a demo kit (containing cloth nappies, food storage products (e.g. Kai Karriers or similar), lunch wraps, Ezi Covers, EcoMail Box stickers etc.) and a workshop manual.
***Participants need to be able to communicate in English because no interpreters will be provided。
